Performance Upgrade: New polyurethane treads for extreme applications
For many years, polyurethane has been one of the most important materials for Blickle treads. By making targeted adjustments to the material composition, properties such as elasticity, load capacity, and wear resistance can be precisely tailored to different requirements.
Based on this experience, Blickle has developed three new polyurethane treads. Blickle Besthane® Drive and Blickle Peakthane® were specifically designed for drive wheels. They are engineered to reliably withstand high dynamic loads caused by frequent acceleration and braking as well as continuous operation, while ensuring high wear resistance.
Blickle Ultrathane® is another PU grade that complements the range for high-speed applications. The tread remains dimensionally stable and resilient even at speeds exceeding 25 km/h.
The new brochure is now available on the Blickle website and offers a concise overview of the three materials and their applications.
